Hydrofon enters South American hydrogen energy market
Hydrexia LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hydrogen Maple, and GH2 Global (GH2), a Brazilian provider of integrated hydrogen energy solutions, recently announced that they have formed a strategic partnership to work together to develop the hydrogen energy market in Brazil and South America.

Crowe Hydrogen signs technology licence agreement with Indian company
(hereinafter referred to as "Crowe Hydrogen") has signed a technology licence agreement with Advait Infratech Limited (AIL) for the construction of AIL's electrolyser manufacturing plant in India. According to the agreement, Crowe Hydrogen will fully support AIL to build an advanced manufacturing plant with an annual capacity of 300MW electrolysers in India. Crowe Hydrogen has committed to provide AIL with detailed technical documentation, patent licences, equipment specifications, drawings and layout designs, manufacturing processes, and testing methods in phases to ensure that AIL is able to successfully master and apply these advanced technologies.

Hypertherm enters into strategic partnership with UK hydrogen vehicle business
(Hybot) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hydrogen Vehicle Systems (HVS) to enter into a co-operation to promote hydrogen fuel cell trucks in the UK and EU.

Data centres take on the hydrogen trend
Equinix, the world's leading digital infrastructure company, has recently implemented a hydrogen fuel cell programme at a data centre in Dublin, Ireland.ESB is Ireland's largest electricity supplier and generator, holding the management and operation of many of the country's power plants, and is now actively involved in hydrogen manufacturing and energy storage. The announced programme requires 3,600 hydrogen fuel cells.

Hydratight and DenEB India enter into strategic co-operation
Recently, Hydratight signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with DenEB India to establish a strategic partnership. The two companies will work together to promote the market application of hydrogen energy in India through product supply, scenario sharing and joint development of solutions in the fields of hydrogen production and use, etc. DenEB is a Mumbai-based gas company dedicated to providing a wide range of best-in-class consulting and project management services for CNG, LNG, LPG, H2, as well as cryogenic telemetry systems and related gas facilities.

South Korean government plans to retrofit and expand into hydrogen buses
In response to a recent spate of electric vehicle battery fires, the South Korean government is developing a plan to convert and expand existing electric buses in urban areas to hydrogen buses. ‘We are considering hydrogen buses as a strong alternative to electric buses,’ said Park Sang-woo, South Korea's Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, at a plenary session of the National Assembly's Land, Infrastructure and Transport Committee on 21 August.

Netherlands to launch €1bn green hydrogen subsidy tender in October
The Dutch government plans to implement a EUR 1 billion (equivalent to USD 1.1 billion) tender between 15 and 31 October aimed at funding investment and operation of green hydrogen energy projects. The tender allows individual projects to apply for up to 50 per cent of the EUR 998,330,000 budget. Tenders will be evaluated and ranked on the basis of cost per megawatt.
