The 7th China (Foshan) International Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology and Products Exhibition (CHFE2023) was grandly opened on November 7 at the Foshan Nanhai Qiaoshan Cultural Center. Cawolo 250Nm³/h PEM Electrolyzer Launched
On the first day of the exhibition, a group of leaders including Zhang Hu, member of the Standing Committee of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee and Executive Vice Governor of Guangdong Province, visited CAWOLO's booth C03-21 in the Brand Pavilion to exchange ideas and guidance, and the Secretary of the Board of Directors of CAWOLO, Mr. Chang Ye, made a detailed introduction to the group of leaders. On the first day of the exhibition, CAWOLO attracted the attention of domestic and foreign visitors, and strongly demonstrated CAWOLO's technology and strength in practicing the goal of "dual-carbon" to the outside world.
The ceremony was held simultaneously in the form of online and offline. The megawatt electrolyzer offline was designed and manufactured by CAWOLO independently, adopting membrane electrodes developed and produced independently, and optimized and improved in product structure, based on the strict enterprise standard Hazop design, to ensure safety, high efficiency and stability under long-time operation, and adapted to automated integrated regulation and control, and its differential-pressure design greatly reduces the risk of oxygen contamination.
Dr. Hou Guoyan, Chief Technology Officer of CAWOLO, introduces: the unit hydrogen production of the electrolyzer is 250Nm³/h, and the DC energy consumption is 4.3kW-h/m³ under the rated condition, with the load capacity covering 5%~150%, and the maximal hydrogen production can be up to 375Nm³/h. The electrolyzer features high efficiency (up to 82%), high stability and reliability, which is suitable for the application scenarios such as off-grid hydrogen production for land and offshore wind power, valley power storage, rainy valley power hydrogen production for hydrogen storage station, distributed photovoltaic power generation, and other fluctuating working condition applications. The electrolyzer is characterized by high efficiency (high 82%), high stability and reliability, and is suitable for application scenarios with fluctuating working conditions such as hydrogen production from wind power off-grid on land and offshore, hydrogen production from rain power storage in valley power hydrogen refueling station, hydrogen production from distributed photovoltaic power generation, etc.
The successful launch of the industrial megawatt-scale 250Nm³/h PEM electrolyzer is the result of CAWOLO team's strong technical strength and firm R&D investment, which marks CAWOLO's breakthrough progress in the field of PEM hydrogen production. In the future, CAWOLO will speed up to enhance the R&D capability of large-scale membrane electrode electrolysis stacks, and provide more high-quality green hydrogen solutions for megawatt-scale electrolysis hydrogen production projects.
